On Siemens dishwashers we most often deal with the anti-flood system triggering (water in the base tray from a seal, sump, hose or heat-exchanger leak), drainage faults, and heating problems that leave dishes wet or cold.
Siemens washing machines commonly present with drainage faults, drum-drive faults (motor or carbon brushes on brushed-motor models), door-lock failures, and aquaStop water-safety triggers. The aquaStop inlet hose is replaced as a complete unit because the shut-off valve and its wiring are built into the hose connector.
Because the platform is shared with Bosch, parts availability and the repair method are effectively the same for the two brands.
