Terms & conditions

1. About these terms
These terms apply to appliance repair services provided by Leadingfix and to your use of this website. By asking us to inspect or repair an appliance, you agree to these terms.
2. Independent service
Leadingfix is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with or authorised by any appliance manufacturer unless this is specifically stated with supporting authorisation. Brand names are used only to identify the appliances we service. If your appliance is within its manufacturer warranty, you should contact the manufacturer or its appointed service centre before arranging an independent repair, as independent work may affect that cover.
3. Diagnosis and quotation
We diagnose the fault on site and provide a quotation covering labour and any parts before carrying out repair work. Repair work proceeds only once you have approved the quotation. A call-out or diagnosis charge may apply; where it does, the amount is made clear to you when you book, before the visit.
4. Parts
We use genuine manufacturer parts when available and approved high-quality compatible parts when appropriate. The available options and the warranty that applies are explained before installation.
5. Warranty
Up to six months' repair warranty, subject to the repair carried out and the part supplied. The exact cover and any exclusions are explained in writing before work begins.
The specific cover and any exclusions for your repair are set out in writing at the time of the work. The warranty covers the repair carried out and the part supplied; it does not cover unrelated faults that arise elsewhere in the appliance afterwards, damage caused by misuse or accident, or work carried out by others after our repair. See the Warranty page for detail.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise. Where a part must be ordered specially, a deposit towards that part may be required before it is ordered. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of booking.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the appliance and accurate information about the fault.
- Back up or remove any items of value in or around the appliance before the visit.
- Tell us if the appliance is within its manufacturer warranty.
8. Limitation of liability
We carry out repairs with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for pre-existing faults or wear not covered by the agreed repair, or for loss of food or other contents except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Website use
The content of this website is provided for general information. Troubleshooting guides are general advice and are followed at your own discretion; if in doubt, switch the appliance off at the wall and contact us. We aim to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or error-free.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi courts.
